SmartSteps seeks a Buying Manager for an international company specializing in building services (technical products), B2B, to accompany their growth, permanent contact to start ideally beginning 2020.
Working with the Director of Business Development, you source products (essentially tools of the building trade), coordinate purchasing at national level, secure supplies, seek new partnerships and negotiate referencing contracts and national prices. You drive the success of these operations through a network of wholesalers and directly from manufacturers.
True technician and professional, you are the main contact of the depot managers, understand their needs and source the articles that will stimulate sales six months later, in line with the commercial strategy and the values of the company that places performance, the long term, knowledge sharing and responsiveness at the heart of its action.
- Position to start ideally January 2021
- The position is based 2 days per week minimum in Strasbourg (more during the initial 6 months of the role), you will be 2/3 days per month in HQ in Haute-Normandie and travel to depots and meetings with suppliers
- Manager role, salary negotiable, company car.
- Reporting to the Managing Director.
