Communication Officer – fluent English h/f

We seek for our client, an international non-profit organization (technical sector), a communciation officer with fluent English. CDD 1 year followed by a CDI. Start date: Beginning October 2021. Salary according to experience  paid over 12 months + possible bonus + luncheon vouchers + free health insurance.

Location: Paris centre
Responsibilities: The Communication Officer participates in the definition, creation, implementation and checking of the ROI of all communication tasks of our organization. Communication actions include a wide range of tasks to ensure a strong information flow internally and externally. 
  • Contribute to the definition of the communication strategy and the Clusters operated by us
  • Work with the Communication Director in the creation, implementation, correction and archiving of any kind of communication support (i.e. news release, presentations, brochures, videos, etc...)
  • Create mailing campaigns content according to the brief and the Clusters operated, proof-read, approve and send them to the right qualified contact databases (Knowledge of Sendinblue would be an asset. If not, knowledge of other emailing software such as Mailjet and Mailchimp is a mandatory pre-requisite)
  • Create social media contents and campaigns, publish them when approved (Knowledge of Hootsuite would be an advantage)
  • Participate in the creation of content for the 3 managed websites, implement updates. (Knowledge of Wordpress is a mandatory pre-requisite).
  • Support the practical organisation of events (with some potential travels in Europe)
  • Work with external suppliers up to the implementation of the communication actions
  • Check the KPI of all communication and marketing actions: mailings contact engagement, social media post engagement, websites traffic analysis Intercluster responsibility: Represents us and the Clusters, secretariat and the Intercluster levels, Align with the other Clusters on joint communication activities on an annual basis; define the actions to be implemented (Website, submission project zone, costs, contents and responsibilities), Implement the intercluster communication plan for the Clusters we operate, If we are in charge of the Intercluster yearly Communication strategy, propose an Intercluster communication plan, make it approved by the other Clusters and the secretariat, create the content and the communication materials (Mailings, posts, presentations) and ensure a synchronised implementation.
Essentials Skills:
  • English mother tongue or bilingual
  • An experience in communication/marketing of minimum 4 years is required
  • Good written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of office software, mailing software (preferably Sendinblue) and of a social media scheduler such as Hootsuite
  • Very organised
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks under pressure
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Able to integrate a small multi-cultural team
