You are a seasoned H.R. L&D professional bringing proven experience in #training delivery, #coaching, organizational #development, talent & performance management and facilitating.  This is a stand-alone coordination role with focus on operationally rolling out and implementing talent initiatives and coaching as member of the EU H.R. team with a primary focus on France and ad hoc EU initiatives. This role will focus evenly across the most important French business entities, there will be lots of travel all over France (particularly in Normandy, IDF, Hauts de Seine) + some to Belgium. For this role you participate in HR EU management team meetings and you have strong link to the local business leaders and local HR France team (HRD and HRBPs).
Location: France
  • Partner with the head of H.R. to set up the Talent Management and development function in France
  • Liaise with the EU H.R. team on training, participate in the HR EU calls, assist in the organisation and participation of the HR annual conference
  • Coordinate and organise logistics for training for France and ad hoc for EU projects
  • Organise and deliver I.D. workshops in France (after training and certification which will be provided)
  • Organise and co-deliver employee workshops on soft skills
  • Identify, understand and consolidate development needs of individuals and teams
  • Coach and guide line managers to have the mandatory training plan and Employee survey meetings
  • Support line managers and employees with coaching, mentoring and mediation
  • Provide L&D reporting input for EU consolidation and FR compliance
  • Support roll out of EU projects (Employee survey, cultural change,…) and ensure coordination and implementation in France
  • Support the E-learning strategy, by investigating potential tools and suppliers and prepare an L&D budget for France, tracking invoices and ensure timely reporting
Essentials Skills:
  • 3 – 5 years min. of proven experience in training delivery, meeting facilitation, coaching and mentoring
  • proven experience in project management and cross country implementation
  • knowledgeable of and experience in HR soft skills and change delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in French, with fluent English
  • Excellent team player who is hands-on and has a “gets things done” approach
  • Culturally savvy, having proven ability to work effectively with diverse international teams
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 50 à 60 %) to work in and support the different business locations. With this in mind, candidates from Ile-de-France, Normandy, or Hauts de France regions would be preferred.
  • Monthly travel to the HQ location (Antwerp) will also be required as well as attendance and support to the annual HR EU conference.
  • Ability to create trustworthiness and credibility for the L& D H.R. function
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills across organizational levels
  • Proven ability to support line managers in guiding their teams through change
  • Previous experience in implementing L&D activities with both Blue collar and white collar environment is a must
  • Proactive and flexible with the ability to juggle different priorities and remain stress resistant
  • Pragmatic, result oriented with high quality standards
