B2B Sales Representative (Food Service/Hospitality Sector) – Southern France (M/F)

Context

Join a long-established Austrian family business specializing in manufacturing high-quality plastic products for the catering industry, with a local team of 5 in France, a workforce of 120 employees in Austria, and a global presence. The company culture is based on close customer relationships and a collaborative spirit. With over 100 years of expertise, the company seeks an experienced or senior Sales Representative to develop the client portfolio in Southern France (including 85, 79, 86, 87, 23, 03, 71, and 39, as well as all departments south of these points).

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing and retaining an existing client portfolio (60% of the activity).
  • Actively prospecting (40% of the activity) to acquire new clients in the food service and hospitality sector.
  • Business development: identifying needs, negotiating, and closing sales.
  • Monitoring sales targets and providing regular reports to management.
  • Representing the company at trade shows (notably Sirha Lyon), client meetings, and internal meetings.

Working conditions

  • Location: Based in the Lyon area (preferred), with 100% remote work.
  • Travel: On average,1,5 to 2 weeks per month (Southern France) and a visit to HQ in the Paris region approximately once every 3 months.
  • Company car provided (e.g., VW Taigo or VW T-Roc).
  • Contract: Permanent contract starting in September or October to replace a retiring employee (handover period one to two months depending on experience).
  • Compensation: Fixed salary of 45K€-55K€ depending on years of experience + commission of 10K€-€15K€ annually.

Desired Profile

  • Experience: Experienced or senior B2B sales professional with a background in the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Languages: Fluent English required (for internal communication). German would be an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills. Autonomy, rigor, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency with CRM tools (an asset).
  • Personal Qualities: Team spirit and collaborative approach.
