Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Professional to join their dynamic team in France. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the firm’s global client strategy, working closely with partners, associates, and cross-border teams to drive business growth, enhance client relationships, and position the firm as a thought leader in the legal industry.
As part of a collaborative, international team, you will help define and implement strategic initiatives for the French market while contributing to European and global campaigns. What You Will Do
Reporting to the Marketing, Business Development (BD) & Communication Department in France, you will:
- Define and implement action plans and budgets for assigned teams and sector groups, in collaboration with partners, colleagues, and international counterparts.
- Coordinate RFP responses and develop high-quality commercial proposals (pitches) in English and French for major assignments and transactions.
- Refine processes, tools, and best practices to ensure the excellence of commercial proposals.
- Create presentations and service packages tailored to clients and prospects.
- Support lawyers in building and monitoring relationships with strategic clients, promoting cross-selling, and organizing roadshows.
- Drive European and global development campaigns, sharing best practices and contributing to cross-border initiatives.
- Conduct strategic and competitive intelligence to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
In Marketing and Communication, you will:
- Manage submissions for rankings, awards, and league tables, including strategy, coordination, and annual monitoring.
- Collaborate with lawyers, Events, and Communication teams to design branding and notoriety strategies for teams and sector groups.
- Launch 360° content campaigns (publications, thought leadership, CRM, webinars, social media, PR) in partnership with local and global teams.
- Set up and analyze KPIs to measure the impact and ROI of initiatives, proposals, and campaigns.
What You Will Bring
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with a proactive and organized approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a passion for continuous learning.
- Higher education (Business School, Bac+5, IEP, CELSA, etc.) with a specialization in marketing, business, communication, and/or law.
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing, pre-sales, or business development, ideally in an international B2B environment (law firms, consulting, finance, tech, banking, audit, financial services, or investment funds).
- Strong proficiency in presentation and CRM tools.
- Outstanding writing and synthesis skills in both French and English.
